Real Madrid and Liverpool will attempt to maintain their undefeated records in the Champions League on Wednesday. The two clubs enter the matches with perfect campaigns in the competition this season.

Jose Mourinho, the manager for the 15-time European champion, is preparing for a trip to AEK Athens. He is looking to secure a third Champions League title, following previous successes with Porto and Inter Milan. However, Mourinho stated that he prefers to focus on current results rather than future rounds. "The reality is that we still need points to qualify. Until we are qualified, I don't like talking about the round of 16," he said.

Kylian Mbappé enters the match with strong form, having scored 15 goals in 14 appearances this season. The French forward has found the net in each of his last five Champions League matches. Jude Bellingham is also approaching a milestone, as he is set to become the youngest player to reach 60 appearances in the competition at age 23 and 128 days. This would break the record set by Iker Casillas.

Liverpool travels to Fenerbahce after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday. Coach Andoni Iraola believes the team can find positive aspects from that loss. "It's difficult when you lose. But, honestly, I'm happy with a lot of things from the other day," Iraola said. He added that the squad needs to improve its approach to attacking the box.

Manchester City faces RB Leipzig after two consecutive league losses. Manager Enzo Maresca cited individual mistakes as a factor in defeats to Aston Villa and Brighton. "Unfortunately it is happening for our players, but I think it is part of the game, part of football," Maresca said. Arsenal also plays away at Slavia Prague.

Paris Saint-Germain set a competition record on Tuesday by becoming the fastest team to score four goals. The French side reached a 4-0 lead in 17 minutes against Villarreal, ultimately winning 6-0. Manchester United recovered from a slow start to beat Roma 3-2 in a European home match.

Barcelona defeated Aston Villa 3-0, while Bayern Munich won 2-0 at Atletico Madrid. These results conclude the day's fixtures prior to the Wednesday matchups.
